This picture makes "The Minstrel Boy" run through my head.
The most appropriate battle hymn if I ever knew one.
I have had this one downloaded for some time.  I apologize for not having faved it and commented.
You have accurately depicted the calm before the storm.  When the warrior shoulders his burdens, puts his doubts aside, and brings forth fury.
Great job with his left knee being down.  Since swordsmen days it has been taught to only kneel with your left knee.
