bLara held Sam, her breathing uneven and irregular, as she had just pushed her figure beyond its normal limits. 
"I knew you'd come for me." She mumbled, as she pulled Lara closer, as if to physically prove that what was happening was real, that the rescue had happened and she was safe, to prove that her best friend was there. 
"I promised." Sam began to weep quietly into Lara's shoulder commenting she looked like a mess. Lara laughed a loud, but looked at Sam shaking her head. "No...You're a lovely mess."
